New Strategic Partnership for Fremantle Shipbuilder

China Zhongwang Holding Limited has acquired a majority stake in Australian shipbuilder Silver Yachts based at the Australian Marine Complex Hub in Fremantle, Western Australia.

The strategic move will allow both parties to develop their businesses in the Aluminum super yacht sector. Zhongwang's new strategic ally is one of the only companies in the world capable of building large all-aluminum super yachts over 70m. Use of the material facilitates the design of lightweight planing hulls for greater speed and fuel efficiency.
