Australia's Great Barrier Reef

There has been a small but very welcome relaxing of the rules for super yachts visiting Australia's great Barrier Reef. National peak body Superyacht Australia announced this week that after many years of lobbying the federal government, their requests for better access to the iconic cruising grounds have finally enjoyed some success. New anchorages have been defined that will allow yachts over 35m and carrying more than 12 persons to drop the hook and enjoy one of the world's most spectacular cruising areas.
